Dexter’s Beliefs, Mission, Vision & Values

Dexter P. Lyons is a Christian Money Manager seeking to honor God in his profession as a Portfolio Manager of a No-Load (BRI) Mutual Fund.

I believe God has given me a passion and a purpose for managing money. My obedience and love for Jesus drive me to honor Him by striving to be a good steward of all relationships and money He has entrusted me. I would classify myself as an active risk manager seeking to achieve long-term capital appreciation and avoid life-changing losses. 

I am disciplined and focused on the bottom line. I have learned the hard way that I cannot control the “return,” but I can attempt to manage the “risk” I take while investing. I do not subscribe to a buy-n-hold philosophy. Instead, I try to get in when the risk is low and get out when the risk is high. I believe the enormous US debt will eventually crush the dollar and create life-changing losses. You will not want to be fully invested in the stock or bond market at that time!  

Beliefs:

The God of heaven and earth is my Father, and I am a Son.

Jesus is my Savior, and the Holy Spirit is my Helper. 

We are all under the New Covenant of Grace, and there is nothing we can do or not do to make God love us anymore or less.

God owns it all, and He trusts me to be a good steward by investing in pro-life and pro-family companies that are aligned with Biblical principles (BRI). 

I try really hard to Rest daily in His Grace & Peace and Love my neighbor the way Jesus Loves Me! 

I pray that you will accept the Love of My Father because I Believe You are a Son/Daughter who is totally forgiven and unconditionally Loved Forever! Amen!

Vision: Actively managing risk, seeking to avoid life-changing losses.

Values: Christ-centered and Disciplined.
